There are many ways to foam. We specialise in water-based
There are many ways to produce foam, but what we specialise in is water-based foaming — it's the area our company has gone deepest into in this industry.
Why functional materials need a specialised formulation
Here's the difference: if you're making a functional material with higher physical and chemical property requirements, the formulation and the machine both matter — neither works alone. You need a good water-based foaming agent, the right water-based resin, and a formulation tuned to match, and only when all three come together do you get a stable pore structure and consistent foam ratio. That's not something any machine can produce just by running.
On the other hand, if you don't have real requirements on physical properties, honestly, you don't need us — there are plenty of simpler, cheaper ways to get there. We'd rather spend our time on customers who genuinely need precise control over foam quality.
The starting point isn't a perfect answer — it's a conversation
Most customers can't precisely state the foam density or ratio they need when they first come to us. That's normal — that's exactly the starting point for a conversation.
We tend to hold back on the specific formulation and equipment details until we're actually talking, because the best answer differs for every application — publishing it as a generic article would be misleading.
