The question we always hear, and our answer that never changes
We're often asked: can this material bond to that one? Our answer is always the same — we'd need to see your process first.
That's not a dodge. Whether a bond succeeds depends on what each face is made of, whether either surface has been treated, your oven's maximum temperature, line speed, pressing conditions, and what physical property tests the finished product has to pass. Stack these variables together, and the same two materials under a different condition can give you a completely different answer.
Not everything can be solved, but it's worth talking first
We won't claim we can solve everything — some combinations genuinely are difficult, or unsolvable for now. But once we understand your process and requirements, we can usually find the best feasible option within what's possible, rather than handing you an adhesive that will "probably work."
Why there's no chart for what bonds to what
This is also why we don't provide a "what bonds to what" chart — a chart like that only creates the false impression that bonding is something you can look up. What actually decides success has always been the conversation where the details get worked out.
